Power of God Ministry developed the Flint International Dream Center (FIDC) as its outreach ministry on September 23, 2000. FIDC is 501( c)(3) non-profit organization whose sole purpose was to expand the ministry to help meet the needs of the homeless, community youth, elderly, low income families and individuals.

FIDC distributes clothing, school supplies, refurbish neighborhood homes, have given away over 1,000,000 lbs of food…host community involvement which includes theater productions, carnivals, live entertainment…giving away bikes, toys, computers, televisions, and money through out year during their Easter, Thanksgiving, Global Street Ministry Conference Festival and Christmas Programs.

FIDC has given a Hand Up as well as a Hand Out through its forums of self-help organizations, which apply concepts that bring Love, Hope and Self-respect back in our community. This Ministry truly is in the “Heart of the City with the City on their Hearts”.

To confront the deteriorating and complex issues that many of the homeless, hopeless and helpless, in our community faces on a daily basis, by targeting successful strategies to exit their current situations.

As long as we have hope, we have direction, the energy to move, and the map to move by.
