Vision Board Competition | Rules & Regulations

High school seniors, juniors and sophomores currently registered at any school in

Genesee County qualify for the Vision Board Contest and a chance to win up to $1000.           

 

All students must register by filling out the Vision Board Application Form

and e-mailing it back to: FIDC Vision Board Contest:  e-mail –  r.jones26@sbcglobal.net

 

Contestants will be judged on the following:

 

Clarity of Goals: 

– Theme ( does the presentation start with a clear premise)

–  Personal Growth (speak to education, spirituality, social life)

–  Career and Finances  (aspects of life, occupation, wage consideration)

–  Relationship Goals (family, feel satisfied, connected to others)

–  Home ( residence, environment, location, car, etc.)

–  Travel (for pleasure, business, education, etc.)

–  Health (body, mind, etc.)

–  Timing ( projection of time when something may happen)

 

Display Board:

–  Section, labeled, and orderly

–  Balance and symmetry displayed

–  Spelling and grammar correct

–  Colors used effectively

–  Has a neat and organized look

–  Thumb Drive Presentation

 

Contestants will be allotted 3 minutes to present / explain their Vision Board.

 

Vision Board winners will be based on monetary pot size – ranging upwards to $1000.00.

Competition coordinators will adjust award winnings based on monetary pot size.

 

Tie Breaking Rules: ties will be broken using a coin toss…or…a drawing of lots.  Method will be decided by event coordinators and judges.

 

The deadline to apply for the Vision Board Contest is Wednesday, July 10, 2024.
